The 2nd Annual Babar & Haris Suleman Memorial Soccer Festival took place on July 23, 2016.
This event commemorates the lives of the father-and-son team that lost their lives on July 23, 2014 while flying around the world to raise funds and awareness for the cause of education in Pakistan. To celebrate their lives and legacy-and their love for soccer-the festival takes place in Babar and Haris’ hometown of Plainfield, IN. This year’s festival featured 19 teams, more than 130 players, and hundreds of spectators!
Thanks to our sponsors, SpinalCare Physical Medicine, Hendricks Regional Health and Seeds of Learning, we raised over $4,000 for the Haris Suleman Memorial Scholarship at Plainfield High School to be awarded to a graduating senior next year!
